Former provincial minister Rauf Siddiqui underwent an angioplasty at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease on Monday.

Rauf had been shifted to the hospital after his condition suddenly deteriorated on Monday.

Sources say that Rauf Siddiqui has been shifted from the Sindh High Court to Cardio Hospital where he is being given medical assistance.

According to sources, Rauf Siddiqui came to Sindh High Court to pursue his case where he fell sick., doctors have recommended angiography of Rauf Siddiqui.

Reports said that a stent was placed in Siddiqui’s heart. He is currently on the ventilator and will be shifted to the intensive care unit soon.
