Earlier, Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Ali Mardan Domki said that a total of 13 people, including nine doctors and two members of medical staff were currently under treatment in Karachi.

Meanwhile, the Caretaker CM of Sindh Maqbool Baqar has directed the health department to issue an alert in the border areas of Sindh.

A spokesperson said that CM Baqar directed to expedite the monitoring in Dadu, Shahdadkot, and Jacobabad while ensuring fumigation and precautionary measures.

He also directed the health and livestock department to monitor the cattle markets and animals in these areas. CM Baqar expressed concerns that the arrival of Congo patients from Balochistan through Dadu could likely spread the virus in the city.
