CopyCat: Is Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Dunki’ copy of Hollywood movie?
Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s new film ‘Dunki’ has become a target of criticism from film fans even before its release.
After the success of Shah Rukh Khan’s two films ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawan’ one after the other this year at the box office, fans are eagerly waiting for his third film ‘Dunki’.
The first teaser of the actor’s third film ‘Dunki’ has been released on the occasion of his birthday on November 2, which has been well received by fans.
However, now it has been revealed on social media that the film ‘Dunki’ is a copy of the Hollywood film ‘Desierto’.
The Hollywood film ‘Desierto’ was released in 2015 and is based on the story of illegal immigration, which depicts a group of Mexican immigrants who illegally cross the US border for a better life.
Social media users criticized Rajkumar Hirani saying that not only the story of the movie ‘Dunki’ is similar to the movie ‘Desierto’ but all the scenes of the movie are also a copy of the same Hollywood movie.
It may be noted that the movie Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, revolves around a group of 5 friends who want to move to London and settle there.
The story of this comedy-drama film ‘Dunki’ also deals with the issue of going abroad illegally.
