US dollar up in interbank, PSX keeps up positive momentum
The dollar continued to gain strength with an increase of Rs0.97 at the interbank foreign exchange market on Monday.
The greenback was trading at Rs285.28 at the closing of the market, as against the closing of Rs284.31 on Friday, November 3.
The foreign currency was trading at Rs286 in the open market on Monday, the first trading session of the week.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange continued to trade in the positive territory as the benchmark KSE-100 Index gained 737.33 points or 1.39% to reach 53,860.36 at the closing of the market.
The KSE-30 Index gained 193.87 points or 1.09% to reach 17,997.77 at the closing of the trading session.
