Taylor Swift re-released “1989” on Friday, her award-winning album that span chart-topping hits like “Shake It Off”, “Blank Space” and “Bad Blood” and cemented her status as a global music star.

It’s the latest in a string of re-recordings by Swift, who wants to take back ownership of her old material.

The original album turned Swift into a bona fide superstar, winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and spawning hits like Shake It Off, Blank Space and Bad Blood.

Swift released “1989” in 2014, at the time it seemed like she was at her peak. “Shake It Off” became a massive hit, and the viral “Bad Blood” music video featured seemingly every A-lister in Hollywood.

In terms of producers, the original “1989” was the first collaboration with Jack Antonoff, who has become an integral part of Swift’s discography and social life. He is credited as a producer on every “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” vault track. Other original producing collaborators, such as Max Martin and Imogen Heap, also returned for the re-recorded version of the album.
