In the Cricket World Cup 2023, Pakistan suffered their fourth consecutive defeat by South Africa after India, Australia, and Afghanistan, but they can still win three matches to play in the semi-finals but the help of other teams is also required.

However, the chances are very low. Pakistan’s seventh match will be against Bangladesh on Tuesday. Pakistan will have to beat Bangladesh to advance to the semi-finals.

On the other hand, Australia will have to lose three out of the next four matches while the situation is not easy.

After defeating Pakistan, South Africa came to the top of the points table. Pakistan is in the sixth position.

Pakistan won the first two matches against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka in Hyderabad, after which luck ran out. Pakistan has played six matches. Pakistan won two and lost four.

After India, South Africa also got their fifth victory but they had to face defeat in one match. Pakistan will play the remaining three group matches against Bangladesh in Kolkatta, against New Zealand in Bangalore, and against defending champions England in Kolkatta on November 11.

Possibly if New Zealand beat Australia, Bangladesh, Netherlands, India beat England, Sri Lanka beat Afghanistan, New Zealand beat South Africa, India beat Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan beat Netherlands. This situation is not easy but not impossible either.
