A video of “flying Hanuman”, a Hindu God, from India’s Chhattisgarh state has gone viral on social media.

The development came as the country was celebrating Dussehra, an occasion that celebrates the victory of the goddess Durga over the demon king Mahishasura.

The video shows locals flying a drone attached to the Hanuman statue. According to Hindu history, the Hindu God was extraordinarily strong and had the power to fly.

A photographer named Vinal Gupta shared the clip on his Instagram feed, It is believed that the visuals were spotted during the Dussehra celebrations held earlier this October.

Similar instances were recorded in the past from other parts of the country. People were seen worshipping Lord Hanuman by launching a drone in 2015.

Lucknow saw the Lord Hanuman drone flying in the sky. Similar visuals were also recorded from Ludhiana.
