Pakistan’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousufzai is once again on the target on social media for not expressing her stance on ongoing Israel-Palestine war conflict.

The recent trolling has been triggered when Media personality Mia Khalifa expressed her sympathies for Palestine.

In her statement, Mia Khalifa said Palestine was the oldest state and we had watched the genocide happen to them before our eyes for years.

After her statement, the users on X, formally known as Twitter, started targeting the peace prize winner saying: “Even Mia Khalifa was talking about the brutality of Israel, did Malala say a single word?”

Some netizens said that she is a tool of America.

Although, Mia has come to defend Malala after a Twitter user accused her for not speaking out enough on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

“You spoke more than our Noble Peace Prize winner Malala and earned huge respect for this act,” wrote a user while replying to Khalifa’s tweet on recent geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

To which Mia replied, “I appreciate your sentiment, but I don’t agree with this rhetoric. We need to be more empathetic to people’s traumas and ability to absorb and digest things unfolding in real-time. Freezing is a trauma response, feeling overwhelmed is common, and we need to give people time to speak on their own time. Malala is a trailblazer for human rights, she’s an inspiration and a guiding light for many.”

Malala who was targeted by the Taliban on October 9, 2012 for promoting girls education, after which she emerged as a female educationist in Swat.

But, rather appreciating the Nobel Peace Prize laureate work in the education Pakistanis in social media targeting her for his political silence.

This was not the first time she was facing a troll from the netizens, on India’s hostile action for Kashmir she expressed her silence as well.
