Blast in Quetta kills PMDC official
Shabbar Mirza was going to the Sor Range coal mine
A bomb exploded in Quetta’s Sor Range area on Sunday, killing a coal mine manager on the spot.
Police said that the blast occurred near a vehicle that was parked on the side of a road near the coal mine field in Sor Range.
The man who died has been identified as Shabbar Mirza, who worked as a project manager at the Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation. He was reportedly targeted while travelling to the coal mine.
Police and rescue officials immediately arrived on the scene and shifted the body to the hospital.
