Court releases eight PTI workers including former minister
They were arrested while attending corner meetings of party
A court in Swat released eight leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) including former provincial minister Dr. Amjad Ali who were arrested for organising corner meetings in Swat’s area of Barikot and Shamuzi.
They were produced in court today on Saturday where the court granted them bail.
All PTI leaders were attending corner meetings at the time of the arrest. The police moved them to the Ghaligay police station.
Among the released were Tehsil Chairman Kashif Ali, Union Council Chairman Iftikhar Khan.
