The Election Commission of Pakistan has written a letter to the chief secretary and inspector general of Sindh over a violation of rules.

The letter says that despite the Commission’s instructions, the government is still providing protocol to ministers from the former government.

The ECP reminded the IG and chief secretary that the ECP had written to them regarding the protocol on August 15 as well.

The letter has asked the government to take away any protocol being provided to former ministers and submit a report on the matter within three days.

In another letter, the ECP has told the interim government in Balochistan to shuffle some major posts in the province’s bureaucracy. The government has been asked to transfer the additional chief secretary development, home secretary, finance secretary and secretary general administration.
