A woman who was allegedly sold by her relatives in Malakand has claimed in a viral video that she has been sold many times and forcefully married to a man from Swat.

The lady, identified as Fazilat Bibi of Rustam Tehsil of Mardan, said that three of her relatives Lakhti, Ibrahim, and Yar Muhammad brought her to Dargai and sold her for Rs4 million.

She said she was forcibly married to Fazal Hadi, a resident of Swat who is already married. Her name was mentioned as Kainat in nikkah papers

Fazilat also said that she was married already and also has two children. However, she is being prevented from returning home.

She also claimed that she has been sold many times at different places in the past.

After the video went viral, police registered the case of kidnapping against Hadi who is currently not in the country. Meanwhile raids are being conducted to arrest other suspects involved in the case.
