India and Nepal hit by 6.2 magnitude earthquake

India and Nepal were hit by an earthquake on Tuesday afternoon.
The earthquake in India was recorded at a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter scale with a point of origin 5 kilometres deep.
The earthquake was felt in Jaipur, Lucknow and Punjab in India.
A statement by India’s National Center for Seismology confirmed the earhquake and said that the point of origin was located in Nepal.
