Rupee strengthens against US dollar in interbank
The rupee continued its gaining momentum in the interbank foreign exchange market as it gained Rs1.04 against the dollar on Tuesday.
The greenback was trading at Rs285.72 at the closing of the interbank, as against the closing of Rs286.76 the previous day.
In the open market, the foreign currency maintained its ground and was available at Rs286 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange opened on a positive note and moved in the green territory during the early trading session.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index gained 117.55 points, or 0.25%, and was trading at 46,744.63 levels. It closed at 46,756.80 levels after gaining 129.72 points, or 0.28%.
The KSE-30 Index gained 44.75 points, 0.28% as it was trading at 16,194.07 levels during the early trade at the local bourse. It closed at 16,201.66 levels after gaining 52.34 points, or 0.32%.
