ODI World Cup: Mickey Arthur joins Pakistan squad in India
Pakistan Team Director Mickey Arthur on Sunday joined the Babar Azam-led squad in India few days before Pakistan began its World Cup campaign, the Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement.
The men in green will take on the Netherlands in their first match on October 6, before their match against Sri Lanka on October 10, and then India on October 14.
The national side arrived in India on September 25 for the 50-over World Cup which is scheduled to begin on October 5.
In Arthur’s previous stint as Pakistan’s head coach from 2016 to 2019, the green shirts won the Champions Trophy title in 2017 by defeating India and also climbed to the top of the T20I rankings.
