Several areas of Karachi received rain on Wednesday afternoon, providing much needed respite from the September heat.

Rain was reported in Quaidabad, Landhi, Nazimabad, Clifton, Korangi, Shah Faisal Colony, North Karachi, and Surjani.

Hassan Square, Gulshan Iqbal and Malir also received light rainfall.

The Met Office had predicted rains in Karachi from September 18 to 20. Rains are also expected in other parts of Sindh.
