Asia Cup: Major changes as Pakistan announce playing XI for Sri Lanka match
With major changes, the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the playing XI for the do-or-die clash against Sri Lanka in the Super Four round.
Mohammad Haris replaces out of form opening batter Fakhar Zaman, Saud Shakeel was included in the team in place of Salman Agha, Mohammad Nawaz is back in the squad as Fahim Ashraf was rested.
Middle-order batter Saud Shakeel will debut for Pakistan in the ODI internationals.
Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Zaman Khan are replacing Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, both of whom were injured during the clash between Pakistan and India.
Pakistan will face Sri Lanka in the Super Four round game tomorrow (Thursday), a must-win game for both teams and India had handed a defeat to both team in the race to the final.
