Sindh to start live streaming court proceedings
A summary will be sent to the CM soon
Sindh’s caretaker government announced on Thursday that proceedings from all courts in the province will now be live streamed.
Provincial Law Minister Umar Soomra said that he would send a summary regarding the initiative to the chief minister soon.
He said that live streaming would help see what people were doing in courtrooms
He added that the government was trying to solve the problems being faced by the lawyer community. He added that bars must be given more facilities.
Soomro said that the bar associations will be given books and laptops and that the lawyers should ‘not consider themselves isolated’.
