On Thursday, the Islamabad ATC sent Imaan to Adiala Jail on a 14-day judicial remand in a sedition case related to the controversial speech against the state institutions.
Imaan, daughter of former human rights minister Shireen Mazari, was arrested on August 20 after the activist posted on social media platform X that unidentified people were breaking into her home. PTM MNA Ali Wazir was also arrested.
Both were booked on the charges of sedition, preventing government officials from carrying out their duties and damaging public property.
