Pakistan has been fighting a recent surge in terrorist attacks, with the state maintaining that the government would not surrender before the extremist elements. Earlier this month, the army chief said that Pakistan would only negotiate with the interim government of Afghanistan and not any group or faction.

COAS Munir highlighted the rich potential of Pakistan and urged the participants to perceive Pakistan based on their experiences during their stay in Pakistan.

“Pakistan is acting as a bulwark against terrorism and the international community must realize the immense sacrifices given by Pakistan,” he said.

The army chief also highlighted the human suffering and atrocities being committed in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and efforts to change the demographic realities.

Students appreciated the COAS for providing the opportunity for a constructive interaction, according to the statement.
