Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has said Pakistan will never face “war fatigue” as it battles terrorism and that the country is fighting the war with its own money, by taxing its own people, not with someone else money.

The prime minister spoke at the Governor’s House in Karachi on Wednesday.

He also discussed the Battagram operation to rescue 8 people stranded in a cable car and praised everyone including the army, the local administration, local people and the schoolboys who were stranded in the cable car for several hours.

The schoolboys are heroes as they held on for around eight hours and displayed the valour of mountainous people, he said.

He said information being spread through social media was not correct and the Battagram incident had united the nation.

He said 10 soldiers were martyred in Waziristan on Tuesday.

Kakar said some people who believed Pakistan may face war fatigue should not expect that to happen.

The prime minister called the suicide bombers ‘dogs from hell’ and said the Pakistani nation did not fear them.

The caretaker prime minister said that none of the prophets approved of suicide attacks. He said Pakistan will fight terrorists unless they surrender.

“The suicide bombers … the dogs of hell … do they think that my soldiers sitting in Waziristan, Balochistan or any other corner of the country don’t know what God has in store for them,” he asked.
