Security forces killed two terrorists in a intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan on Tuesday.

A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations said that the operation was conducted in Razmak on the reported presence of terrorists.

“During the conduct of operation, security forces surrounded the terrorists’ location and after intense fire exchange, two terrorists were sent to hell,” the statement said.

“Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as extortion and target killing of innocent citizens,” the statement added.

The statement added that a sanitization operation was underway to clear the area.
