Seema Haider’s story but without Sachin in it
Seema Haider’s story is set to be retold, but without Sachin in it this time.
The Pakistani woman who went to India to marry a man she met playing PUBG has dominated headlines in recent weeks.
An Indian filmmaker named Amit Jani has therefore decided that the story needs a dramatic retelling and he has decided that Seema herself should be offered the leading role. The film will be called Karachi to Noida.
Seema auditioned to play herself on Thursday.
A video of Seema’s audition has gone viral on social media and has invited one major comment. The man next to her in the audition is not Sachin.
The film will be prepared and released by Jani Firefox Productions.
The fillmaker has also filed a complaint with the police claiming that Hindu nationalist organisation Bajrang Dal has issued him a death threat. He alleged that he had received a voice call threatening him not to cast Seema in the move.
