UAE introduces new law for child safety
Parents who leave their children in the heat will be fined
The United Arab Emirates has decided to make leaving children alone in cars a punishable offence.
New rules have been introduced to prevent parents from leaving children inside their cars alone during the intense weather during the summer break.
Parents who display negligence can be fined upto AED5,000 and can also be sent to jail.
Police has warned that leaving children in a car during the summer can cuase the inside of the vehicle to drastically heat up, which can be fatal.
