Green bus service to officially launch in Quetta today
Green Bus service will officially begin in Quetta from Monday, in a major intervention to fix the city’s transportation woes.
The bus service will being operating from Baleli to Koila Phatak today.
The service will eventually expand to move between Saryab road, University of Balochistan and Airport chowk. There will be a total of 18 stops on the route.
Secretary Transportation Munawwar Magsi said that the bus service is currently made up of a eight-bus fleet.
The buses contain 41 seats and will also allow 20 people to comfortably stand inside.
A bus ticket for an entire journey will cost a total of Rs30.
