At least 18 families in Dagai village of Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have received threatening letters, directing them to withdraw money and jewellery from banks and to keep it at home.

The copy of the alleged letter, available with Aaj Digital, also claimed responsibility for the previous theft in the area. The letter, dated July 13, apparently seems to be an attempt to force the families to keep the money at home so it can be stolen from them.
