Karachi received light rainfall on Sunday morning, with Met office saying other cities in the country could receive heavier showers and thunderstorms.

Rain was received around Gurumandir, MA Jinnah Road, Liaquatabad and Soldier Bazar, giving the humid weather a pleasant turn.

The Met office said that heavy rains are expected across Sindh from July 20 to 22.

Meanwhile, Lahore and other cities in Punjab continued to receive scattered rainfall on Saturday. Rains are expected to continue in Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday.
