Security forces kill five terrorists in Zhob Garrison clearance ops

The clearance operation at Zhob Cantonment has been completed in which the security forces have killed five terrorists, while five soldiers were martyred, Inter Services Public Relations said on Wednesday.

The five soldiers critically injured earlier while fighting gallantly succumbed to injuries and embraced shahadat taking the figure to a total of nine shaheeds, it added.

Earlier today, the terrorists attacked Zhob Garrison, leading to four soldiers being martyred while three terrorists were killed.

“On 12 July 23, in early hours of the morning, a group of terrorists launched a dastardly attack on Zhob Garrison in Northern Balochistan,” ISPR said in a statement.

The statement added that the soldiers on duty stopped the initital attempt of terrorists to ented the facility.

“In ensuing heavy exchange of fire, the terrorists have been contained into a small area at the boundary.”

ISPR added that three heavily armed terrorists have been killed, while a search operation is being carried out to find the two remaiing terrorists as well.

However, four soldiers embraced shahadat during the clearance operation while another five were injured.

“Security Forces remain determined to thwart all such ghastly attempts at destroying peace of Balochistan and Pakistan,” ISPR said.
