Kuwait’s airline operates first flight to Pakistan

Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways operated its first flight of to Pakistan on Wednesday with a passenger jet landing in Islamabad, a Pakistan Civil Aviation spokesman said.

Flight J9-511 carrying 163 passengers from Kuwait arrived at Islamabad International at 4:30 am, the spokesman said.

Jazeera Airways will operate flights twice a week i.e. Wednesday and Saturday.

Last week, British airline Virgin Atlantic ceased its flight operations to Pakistan. Its last flight from Islamabad International Airport, VS379, flew to London Heathrow on Sunday.

Virgin Atlantic had commenced operations at Islamabad Airport in December 2020 with seven weekly flights.
