Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shireen Mazari has approached the Islamabad High Court to get her name removed from the Exit Control List.

In a petition file on Tuesday, Mazari has argued that summarily putting her name on the list with no cases against her is against the law.

She has made the secretary of the interior ministry and the director general of the Federal Investigation Agency parties in the case.

Mazari is one of dozens of leaders who were arrested released and then re-released after the May 9 protests. She along with multiple other members of the PTI were placed on the Exit Control List that prevents people from leaving the country.
