Two murder suspects escape from Islamabad Police custody: sources
The prisoners escaped on the way to Adiala Jail
Two prisoners suspected of multiple crimes including murder escaped from the Islamabad Police custody on Wednesday, source said.
The fugitives were suspected of carrying out crimes in the jurisdiction of Golra and Koral Police Station, they added.
The dangerous prisoners were being brought to Adiala Jail when their armed accomplices took the police hostage near the Zia Mosque and fled after releasing the two suspects.
The Islamabad police have started an investigation into the matter.
