Pakistani woman in India for love; Husband wants children back

Says his wife was “trapped” through PUBG in his absence

The husband of a Pakistani women arrested in India after she moved to the county illegally has said that his wife was trapped using PUBG in his absence and that he wants his children back in Pakistan.

Ghulam Haider spoke to reporters in Jacobabad in the Sindh province on Wednesday, days after his wife Seema was arrested in India where she was living with her Indian lover Sachin and her four children from Haider.

Seema travelled to India with her children via Nepal in May after meeting and falling in love with Sachin on PUBG.

Haider requested the Pakistani government’s help in getting back his children, who are with their mother while she is in detention of the Indian Police.

Haider, an expatriate living in Saudi Arabia, said that his wife, Seema Gulam Haider was “trapped” through gaming app PUBG. “The Indian police have arrested my wife and children. I request the Pakistani government to help me get back my children.”

Seema, a resident of Jacobabad, her four children and Sachin are in Indian Police custody after their arrest on Tuesday.

They were living in a rented apartment in Rabopura area of Greater Noida.

The police are investigating both Seema and Sachin.

According to Indian media, the local police received a tip-off that a Pakistani woman was living illegally in Greater Noida. When Sachin found out that the police had received information about Seema’s presence, he tried to flee with Seema and her four children.

In her statement to the Indian police, Seema refused to return to Pakistan.

She said that she was living alone for four years while her husband was in a foreign country.

During the Covid-19, she used to play PUBG and this was when she met Sachin. They developed a relationship and fell in love, after which they both decided to get married, she added.

She went on to add that she want to marry Sachin.
