The trailer of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released on Tuesday and fans were all smiles for the chemistry of lead pair, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.

The three minutes and nineteen seconds trailer showed the lead actors falling in love after a few meetings and how they manage to convince their families about their marriage.

Karan Johar, who has directed the movie after a long break, uses his signature style with mega stars ensemble, exquisite sets, designer dresses, and family drama.

#AliBhatt and #RanveerSingh were among the top trends after the trailer was released, with fans appreciating the lead cast for their on-screen chemistry.

The film would be released on July 28 in Karan’s 25th anniversary year as a filmmaker.

Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan are playing Mr and Mrs Randhawa, the grandparents of Ranveer Singh’s character Rocky Randhawa. They belong to the Punjabi family. Meanwhile, Shabana Azmi is playing Mrs Chatterjee, the grandmother of Alia’s Rani Chatterjee. They are shown as a Bengali family.

Ranveer and Alia were last paired in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy (2019). In addition to the main cast, actors Tota Roy Chowdhury, Aamir Bashir, Sriti Jha, and others are also featured in the film.
