PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan was arrested for the fourth time soon after his release from the Peshawar Central Jail on Thursday.

The Peshawar High Court on Wednesday ordered the release of Khan and ordered him to submit a surety bond of Rs100,000.

The PTI leader was arrested under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police arrested Khan from outside Adiala Jail on May 30 under the 3MPO.

Khan’s release warrant was signed by the DC office, and his release warrant was delivered to the Central Jail, after which the former minister was released.

The Mardan Police rearrested the PTI leader as soon as he left the Peshawar Central Jail. The police have arrested Khan in a case pertaining to arson and vandalising on May 9 and 10.

Hundreds of PTI leaders and workers have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the violent protests on May 9 and 10, after PTI Chief Imran Khan was arrested by the paramilitary forces from the court premises.

The Islamabad police arrested Khan from Islamabad on May 11 under the 3MPO. He was again arrested by the Punjab Police on May 17, after his release from Jhelum District Jail on the orders of the Islamabad High Court.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police nabbed him for the third time from outside Adiala Jail on May 30 under the 3MPO.
