A blast near a hotel on Peshawar’s Ring Road on Thursday. Police confirmed that one person had died as a result of the explosion.

Police sources also said that the blast happened in a motorcycle and three people were injured in the incident as well.

Police said that the incident took place at a shop where the motorcycle had been brought for repairs. The motorcycle had been fitted with a 200 gram magnetic Improvised Explosive Device which exploded when the motorcycle was being disassembled for a repair.

The young man killed in the explosion has been identified as Samiulla. All three injured people have been identified as males but no names released.
