Jemima Goldsmith has expressed happiness over the Supreme Court’s order to release her former husband Imran Khan saying that “finally sense has prevailed”.

The apex court declared the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan “illegal” and ordered his immediate release Thursday.

Reacting to the SC order, the film producer tweeted: “Finally sense has prevailed.”

The IHC, which took notice of the PTI chief’s arrest, later termed it “legal”. Subsequently, the PTI moved the top court for their chairman’s release.

He was arrested from the premises of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday by Rangers personnel in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
