The National Institute of Health (NIH) confirmed 28 new coronavirus (Covid-19) cases across Pakistan Monday.

The rate of coronavirus in the country has been recorded at 0.90 per cent, while 28 positive cases have been reported so far in the last 24 hours.

At least 10 patients are said to be in critical condition. About 3,105 tests were conducted in the aforementioned duration.

Earlier, The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) recommended wearing masks in crowded places after the recent surge in Covid-19 cases. The guidelines were recommended for the period up to 30 April 2023.
