Three suspected robbers killed in Karachi

Same number of them were arrested in injured states in different areas of the Port city

An exchange of gunfire between suspected robbers and personnel of the Sindh Police in Ajmer Nagri on Saturday left three robbers dead while three others were arrested in different areas of Karachi.

They were killed after trying to flee from the spot. When the police personnel tried to intercept them, the robbers opened fire at the police and tried to escape. In retaliation, the police fired shots, killing all three.

The deceased robbers were identified as Owais, Zeshan, and Rashid. Weapons, snatched goods, and motorcycles were also recovered from their possession while the bodies were shifted to the hospital.

Meanwhile, a suspected robber, identified as Dadullah Afghani, was arrested in an injured state after an exchange of fire near Jamali Bridge, area of Sachal.

In Shah Faisal Colony, Ashfaq Lashari was arrested after an alleged police encounter. Weapons, mobile phones and other items were also recovered from his possession.

Moreover, Tipu Sultan police arrested a suspected robber, identified as Alex in an injured state. They also said to have recovered weapons, snatched mobile phones, purses and motorcycles.

On the other hand, Kamran was seriously injured in the firing of robbers near Liaquatabad Bird Market.
