Imran Khan’s interim bail extended in three cases
An anti-terrorism court in Lahore extended PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s interim bail till April 13 in three cases Tuesday.
The former Prime Minister appeared before the court at 11 AM after his exception from appearance plea was rejected by the court in three cases including the Zille Shah murder case, arson, and interference in state affairs.
These cases were registered against Khan at the Race Course police station under anti-terror, aiding and abetting provisions.
The former Prime Minister’s lawyers argued that Khan’s case was pending in the concerned court, he cannot appear due to security concerns.
The court asked where is Imran Khan and he hasn’t even submitted the security bonds yet. “You tell me whether Imran Khan has to come or not, yes or no, whoever comes will take relief.”
To which, the PTI chief’s lawyer responded that he was not far away.
Later, after his physical appearance, the court extended his interim bail till April 13.
