Yemen warring parties reach prisoner swap deal: Houthis
More than 880 people will be released in total
DUBAI: Yemen’s Houthi rebels and the internationally-recognised government have reached a prisoner swap deal during negotiations in Geneva, the rebels said Monday according to their Al-Masirah TV channel.
“An agreement has been reached to implement a (prisoner) swap” that will see more than 880 people released in total, Abdul Qader al-Murtada, the leading Houthi delegate to the Geneva talks, was quoted as saying by the channel.
