Quetta police sets off to arrest Imran Khan

He is nominated in a case for inciting people

A five-member police team has set off from Quetta to Lahore to arrest PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

The team includes SP Muhammad Nadeem, DSP Abdul Sattar and IO Abdul Hameed.

Quetta police has already been in contact with Lahore police to make sure the arrest can be executed.

A case was registered against Imran Khan in Police Station Bijli Road accusing him of making false claims against institutions and inciting people. His warrants were issued by Magistrate Bashir Bazai.

A team from Islamabad Police tried to arrest Imran Khan on Sunday but had to return empty handed after PTI supporters gathered in large numbers at his Zaman Park residence.

The PTI chief has also refused to attend court hearings in Islamabad, saying that there is the threat of another attmept on his life.
