An explosion rocked Rakhni Bazar in Barkhan, killing four people and injuring 16 others on Sunday.

Although police did not reveal details of the nature of the attack, reports said that the bomb had been fixed to a motorcycle parked outside a barber shop. The market was crowded when the explosion took place.

Police and levees quickly arrived on the scene after the blast and cordoned off the area. A search operation is being carried out in the area.

Most of the injured were shifted to Rakhni’s Basic Health Unit, while four of the more critically injured patients have been shifted to DG Khan.
