KARACHI: Police have found evidence that the wife of a murder victim, whose body parts were found spread over a small area near the Paposhnagar Graveyard, was involved in the murder.

Dismembered body parts were found in Karachi’s Paposhnagar area on February 8, Wednesday.

Two days later, the victim was identified as Shahbaz, a 39-year-old man from Quetta and a resident of Karachi’s Pirabad Frontier Colony.

The victim’s wife has not contacted the family and has been missing since the incident. After identifying the victim, the police raided his house and found that the whole place had been cleaned to wipe away evidence of the murder, police officials said.

The police are conducting raids to find the accused.

On February 8, when a human torso and limbs were found near Paposhnagar Graveyard, some witnesses were reported as saying that a woman had arrived in a rickshaw and dumped the body part.
