Naseem Shah avoids major injury scare in BPL
Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah has escaped without an injury during the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The 19-year-old is representing Comilla Victorians in the T20 tournament, where he picked six wickets in just two games.
On Saturday, fans in Pakistan have their heart in their mouth when they saw Naseem lying on the ground holding his left knee, which stuck into the ground while fielding.
Pakistan’s premier pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi had injured his knee in a similar fashion while playing against Sri Lanka, which kept him out of action for months.
However, it was a sign of relief for everyone in Pakistan especially for Quetta Gladiators, as the pacer returned to the field after a while and bowled two brilliant overs at the death to help Victorians to grab a four-run victory.
He ended up with the figures of two for 29 from in his four overs.
