Two fans were arrested after they invaded the pitch during the second ODI between New Zealand and Pakistan Tuesday.

Both of them invaded the pitch during New Zealand’s innings to meet star Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan before being caught by the Special Security Unit of Sindh Police.

One of the fan identified as Mohammad Awais, who managed to doge security and ran in the ground from stands to hug Rizwan.

He was caught by security after he hugged his favorite player, according to him. “My wish was fulfilled and I am so happy,” Owais, 15, told reporters inside the premises of the National stadium. “I am the biggest fan of Rizwan. They were not letting me meet him,” he added.
