KARACHI: An 11-year-old boy was killed in what the child’s father said occurred due to the accidental discharge of a firearm in the Orangi Town area of Karachi Tuesday.

The man said that he was cleaning his pistol when it went off, hitting the boy fatally.

The police have taken the boy’s father into custody and are investigating further.
