Football greats Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi took the internet by storm after the duo posted a rare picture together on the eve of the FIFA World Cup.

The duo was photographed sitting opposite each other at a chessboard in the stunning picture. The picture is part of a collaboration with a renowned fashion house.

Both Messi and Ronaldo have scored 1604 goals and 581 assists and won a total of 12 Ballon d’Ors combined.

The football superstars would be playing their last FIFA World Cup, which starts today in Qatar, with both players looking to win the mega event for the first time.
