Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo will be playing his fifth and probably the final World Cup when his side will take the field in Qatar later in November.

The tournament will kick-off on November 20 at the Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, where hosts Qatar will lock horns against Ecuador.

However, all eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo, who will be making his first appearance since the boom-shell interview which shook the pillars of Manchester United.

He will be starting the World Cup campaign against Ghana on November 24. During the game, he will be aiming to break the goal-scoring record of Portuguese legend Eusebio at the World Cup.

Eusebio led Portugal to the semi-final of the 1966 tournament - scoring nine goals to win the Golden Boot - before being beaten by hosts England at Wembley.

The 37-year-old is just three goals away from becoming Portugal’s highest scorer at the World Cup finals. So far he has seven goals in 17 games spread across four tournaments.

Moreover, he can also become the first player ever to score at five different World Cups if he finds the back of the net in the desert.
