Jemima Goldsmith won the hearts of Pakistanis once again by singing a song in Urdu.

A video of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s ex-wife went viral on social media, in which she is seen singing a popular 50’s song.

Emb Hashmi, a BBC journalist, shared the video on her official Twitter account.

The video clip is taken from the journalist’s interview with Jemima for the BBC, Emb wrote “After all the grim news of late, this will put a smile on your face.”

During the Interview, the host asked Jemima to say something in Urdu. Jemima asked if she can say, ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ or if she is ’looking for more. The interviewer then asked her to sing a song in Urdu. Jemima added that she is more concerned about her Urdu than her singing. She sang a famous national song, ‘Ao bachon sair karaye tum ko Pakistan ki’ by Saleem Raza.

Goldsmith added that she used to sing this song with her children.

Jemima also said that she hopes to raise money for flood victims by auctioning the previews of her film ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It.’

“Every single screening that we do will hopefully have a benefit to the flood victims,” Jemima said in her interview.

The screenwriter had asked her Twitter followers to suggest credible organizations for donations back in August.

Imran Khan married Jemima Goldsmith in 1995, and they parted ways in 2004, after which Jemima returned to her homeland, but her attachment to Pakistan is still strong and she is actively connected with her Pakistani followers on social media.
