Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, who is on a visit to her home country after 2018, has said that women and children have been the most affected in Sindh’s flood-hit Dadu.

“Floods have caused massive destruction,” she said during her visit to the flood camps in the city. “A large number of affected women are pregnant.” Education Minister of Sindh Syed Sardar Shah accompanied her during the visit

The minister education and literacy department of Sindh also shared a video of her arrival in the Sindh district. The Nobel laureate, along with her parents, arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday. This is her second visit to her home country after the Taliban attacked her in October 2012.
